Greetings from off the Pacific Coast in Panama. On board this week were 11 guests. Joining us were Jim White, William Coughlin, Dan Wilson, Pat Nash, Ralph Cunningham, Perry Bump, Joe Purpura, Frank Marra, Doug Hanks, David Tanner and James Raven. I want to add something about this trip, this group had to work hard to catch what they did, our captains did everything they could to get fish to bite, and the anglers worked hard as well. They got up at five and got a quick breakfast, were on the boats and gone by 6:00 AM and sometimes not back until 6:30 PM at night. It was a tough week offshore; the big Yellowfin Tuna were just not around. Kudos to our guests who put in many fishing hours offshore to land that big one, only to end up going inshore to do the catching. Some offshore catches were reported, but for the most part, it was an off week for the Hannibal Bank. |
