Hello from sunny Panama! Onboard this week we welcomed Jay Campana and his fellow anglers ? John Huryn, George Pusser, Ray Reinhard, Mark Krejci, Joe Heisler and Rich Lucas, along with Juan Guerra, Matt Chavkin, Joe Dermody, Dave Wonka and Ray Evans. Bobby Rice, the winner of the RFA Trip was aboard with his fishing partner, Lee Lemons. For a total of 14 guests, all ready to do some catching. |

Marlin, Black - Total Landed 3 - Largest was caught by Ray Reinhard estimated at over 1,000 pounds, consuming a total of 3 ½ hours to land, she was successfully released from Star VII. Note that Rich Lucas? 800 (+) pound Black should also be mentioned, successfully released from Star V, taking 3 ¼ hours to land. Rich used the Avet 50 wide body reel and a number 16 circle hook. All hook ups were "text book" perfect.! Sailfish, Pacific - Total Landed 4 - Largest caught by R.J. Brill, 110 pounds; Tuna, Yellowfin - Total Landed 15 - Largest brought in by Lee Lemons, Jr., 270 pounds; Wahoo - Total Landed 9 - Largest caught by Jay Campana, 35 pounds; Dorado - Total Landed 11 - Largest caught by Matt Chavkin, 30 pounds; Amberjack - Total Landed 8 - Largest caught by Joe Dermody, 60 pounds; Roosterfish - Total Landed 13 - Largest landed by Lee Lemons, Jr., 55 pounds; Snapper, Cubera - Total Landed 43 - Largest caught by John Huryn, 60 pounds; Snapper, Mullet - Total Landed 20 - Largest landed by Ray Reinhard, 30 pounds; Jack, Blue - Total Landed 17 - Largest caught by Juan Guerra, 30 pounds.
