Included: Depending on package you choose, hotel first
& last night in Panama City, round-trip in-country flight Panama City/David,
complementary rum punch party first night, three meals a day, snacks, all non carbonated
drinks, all linens, hot showers, air conditioned staterooms, video/CD library, scuba
tanks/weight belts, airfills, nature tours, snorkeling, sea kayaking, beach combing,
launch service to and from shore, Port & Park fees, local in country transfers
(Ship and Local Airport).
Not Included: Airfare to and from Panama, tourist card needed for Panama
arrival, (a tourist card must be purchased from you air carrier before your arrival
to Panama), meals, drinks or in-room bar in Panama City or David, airport transfers
in Panama City and David, departure tax in Panama City, carbonated/alcoholic beverages,
equipment rentals, sundries, gratuities, special classes, Boutique store items,
Sat-com phone/fax messages, nitrox fills.
Again, depending on package you choose, our price includes just about everything.
You will have to arrange for your own airfare to and from Panama. While we
do pay for the 2 nights at Coral Star's hotel of choice (double occupancy), we do
not pay for food or beverage those 2 nights - nor the gratuity to your Captain and
Crew. For the smaller flight from Panama City to David and back, be aware
that should your body weight and luggage weight be over 200 pounds, you will be
charged an additional $50 prior to your trip. If your luggage weighs more
than 35 pounds, you may need to pay an excessive baggage fee of 25 cents per pound
for every pound you are over 35 pounds at the smaller airport. This is typical
for foreign countries especially on smaller airplanes. While we recognize
that this is an inconvenience for you, it is also an indication of the remoteness
of David and the logistical problems that face us.
Please note a price surcharge may be added in Panama only if necessary
and depending on the cost of fuel, goods and supplies. Due to the uncertainty
of fuel and other possible cost increases such as fishing permits, park fees, hotel
rooms, and plane flights, it may become necessary to make an adjustment in class
prices in way of a surcharge.
Reservations: Faxed or written reservations with a 25% deposit per person
is required to confirm a reservation. Payments per person are required at
90 days and again at 60 days before departure with the balance of the payment due
30 days prior to you liveaboard adventure. If cancellation becomes necessary please
notify our office in writing at least 90 days prior to departure, you deposit will
be returned less a $100.00 administration fee per person.
Any cancellation within 90 days of your departure date will result in forfeiting
of all monies deposited. Substitutions upon approval of M/V Coral Star, Inc. There
will be no refund offered in the event of a no-show. If payments are not received
at the designated time, M/V Coral Star, Inc. reserves the right to sell those spaces
in question with forfeiture of all monies to date.
Responsibility: M/V Coral Star, Inc. declines any responsibility for
personal injury or property damage arising out of negligence of either M/V Coral
Star, Inc. or its agents, including the ship's owners. Any change of schedules,
due to weather or any other reason deemed necessary for the safety of the ship and
passengers are not the responsibility of M/V Coral Star, Inc.
